From June 30 to July 2, youth from across the state gathered for the 2026 Reality Check Youth Summit at the SUNY Oswego Campus, where youth leaders learn, collaborate and advocate for healthier tobacco-free communities.
Youth representing the Reality Check group from Canton, NY are Arieanne Grimshaw, Dayshawn James, Emma Bradish Hayes, and Quinn Lewis. Lead by Coordinators Travis Jordan, Morgan Arquette, and Sarah Martin.
Canton youth leader Dayshawn James was also recognized as the 2026 Reality Check Central Region Youth Ambassador of the Year.
