The boys varsity hockey team will host the Inaugural Golden Bear Open on Saturday, Aug. 29 at St. Lawrence Golf & Country Club.
All proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit equipment and facilities upgrades for the Canton boys varsity hockey team.
The cost of the tournament is $400 per team and is due on tournament day. The tournament is capped at 25 teams. Any teams who sign up after the tournament is full will be put on a waiting list in the order that they sign up.
Prizes for the tournament include cash payouts. Raffles, silent auctions, and other on-course games will also be available to all golfers.
