In the third inning, the Rocks were threatening with the bases loaded and one out, the batter popped up to catcher, Jenna Larrabee who then threw to third base doubling the runner up to end the inning. The icing on the cake was the over the shoulder catch made by Layla Clifford in the bottom of the seventh to end the game with a zero on the scoreboard.

“Because of bussing issues we did not arrive at the field until 20 minutes before game time. The girls did an awesome job getting off the bus and getting ready before the first pitch. It took us a few inning to shake off the “Bus Legs” but we settled in and put some runs on the board in the fifth inning. Pitchers again threw great and we made some nice plays behind them. The Rocks put the ball in play so we had to play defense today. Now the girls need to enjoy prom weekend.” Mike Wentworth
