Team Meeting before facing SLC

For the second day in a row the Bears scored five runs in the first inning on their way to a 16-4 win. Tessa Alguire went 4-5 with two doubles and a triple to lead Canton.  Shaylee Olmstead and Elle White collected three and two hits in the win.

Alguire and White again split the pitching duties, combing for 12 strikeouts. Alguire(8) and White(4)

“The Larries always play us tough and today was no different.  They created a lot of traffic on the bases but we seemed to keep them from having any big innings.  We are still making a few early season mistakes but I am hoping we will see improvement every day.  I love the way we ran the bases today.  Putting that kind of pressure on the defense always makes things tough. ” From Coach Wentworth
