Canton XC Shows Strength at Interdivisionals

On Tuesday, October 28th, the Canton varsity cross country team competed in Interdivisionals at Norwood-Norfolk School. The athletes ran well and showed the improvements that have been made since the start of the season.

In the girls race, Canton’s top finisher was Lena Frank, who placed 17th with a time of 24:02. JessieJean Coffin ran the race with a time of 24:36. Addison Ragan finished in 25:19. Ashlan Foster ran a 29:09.

On the boys side, Zachary Lyndaker placed eighth with a time of 18:15. Cedric Harper was only one place behind with a time of 18:17. Duncan Harper finished the race in 18:48. Carson White completed the race in 20:02. Elijah Williams ran a 21:12. Parker Smith finished in 22:22.

The next meet will be Sectionals, held at Tupper Lake Central School. This will determine who moves on to States. The athletes are looking forward to giving it their all in the final Section X meet!
