Bears Golden On Senior Day

In Canton on Saturday morning; Canton 15,  Lisbon 1

  The Bears hosted the Lisbon Golden Knight on Saturday morning and also honored seven graduating seniors.  Canton outscored Lisbon by the score of 15-1.

   Three different pitchers combined for a 19 strikeout two hitter.  Hadley Alguire started the game and picked up the win pitching 3 innings, striking out seven.  Ava Hoy pitched the next three, striking out nine. Freshman Tessa Alguire closed out the game pitching the seventh and striking out 3.

  Offensively, Courtney Peters was 3-3 and both Alguires and Sydnee Francis all had two hits in the winning cause.

  The Bears have a busy final week of the season, scheduled to play four games this week.  Monday they will travel to Heuvelton to play the Bulldogs.  Game time is scheduled for 4:30.
