In Massena on Tuesday night; Canton 54, Massena 32
The Lady Bears were hungry for a second win against the Raiders Tuesday night. Junior, Ava Hoy helped the Bears take an early lead scoring 17 points in the first half. Francey, Klassen and White also added to the tally bringing the Bears to a 25-17 lead at half time.
The Raiders attempted to rally after the half but proved to be no match for the Bears. Freshman, Olivia White went 4-4 at the foul line and added 10 points to the Golden Bears lead in the second half. Klassen, Coburn, Gabriel and Hoy split the other points bringing the Bears to victory with a final score of 54-32 and securing the #1 spot in Class C.
The Bears will be on the road to take on the N-N Flyers for their last regular-season game Thursday night.
