The Lady Bears made the short trip down Route 11 and easily defeated the Sandstoners 57-22.  The Bears hit the court fast and hard taking an early 20-point lead in just the first quarter.  They held Potsdam to a substantial lead throughout the game and came out on top without much of a fight.

A longer trip down Route 11 south on Saturday did not end as well for the Lady Bears.   The Bears came out strong, holding the General Brown Lions to only a 4-point lead in the first quarter with help from junior, Ava Hoy going 6-6 on the free throw line.  However, the Lions stamina proved to be too much for the Bears as they fell behind in the 2nd quarter and were unable to rally despite an impressive second half from junior, Josie Gabriel netting 12 points. The game ended in a tough loss to the older, more experienced Lions team.
