In Potsdam on Thursday evening; Canton JV’s 39, Potsdam 25
The Canton JV girls Basketball traveled to Potsdam to play against the Sandstoners on Thursday night. The young Bears came home with a 39-25 victory. Sara Aldous led all scorers with 14 points. Tessa Alguire also netted 10 points in the winning cause.
“We started out slow but we played very well the last three quarters. The girls ran the floor well and continued to hit the boards hard.” The Cubs will make the trip to Watertown on Saturday to tip it up face the General Brown Lions. Game time is scheduled for 11 am.
