In Canton on Saturday afternoon: Canton 50, Edwards-Knox 44
After bad weather created a month-long pause, the Bears were finally able to take on the Edwards-Knox Cougars on Saturday afternoon in the Championship game of the annual Don Petty Tournament. The Bears trailed the Cougars for the first quarter but made some adjustments and nice shots in the third to tighten the score to a 26-25 Cougar lead at halftime. The Bears were eventually able to pull ahead and seal the victory with a score of 50-44. Junior Ava Hoy walked away with 24 points, followed by Freshman, Olivia White with 10 points.

The Bears dominated the first game of the tournament to Norwood-Norfolk 80-16. The young Bears had an impressive game and the shots were plenty. Leading in points was Callie Klassen with 23 and Olivia White added 19 to the score.
