In Canton on Monday evening; Canton 47, Massena 22
The Canton girls JV Basketball team hosted the Massena Red Raiders on Monday night at Jerry Hourihan Gymnasium. The young Bear Cubs cruised to a 47-22 victory. Sara Aldous led all scorers with 15 points. Salma Moumen and Jenna Larrabee also tossed in 8 points in the win.
“I was most impressed with our passing and movement tonight. We didn’t turn the ball over as much today and we had a few great back door looks”, stated Coach Wentworth.
Canton will be on the road on Thursday when they make the short trip down route 11 to play the Potsdam Sandstoners. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30.
