Canton 81, Salmon River 21
The Bears rebounded from the Indian River loss with a dominating performance against Salmon River on Jan. 6. Canton tallied up a final score of 81-21 which had them feeling good going into their next matchup against the league leading Gouverneur Wildcats.
Ava Hoy led the team with 25 points followed up by Olivia White with 18 and Winnie Downs with 14.
“We played well, we worked on a few different defensive sets and continue to mature as a young team,” Coach Disalvo noted.
