Canton played multiple teams on Saturday and ended up finishing with three wins and two losses. Canton started off with a 48-30 win over OFA with noticeable wins on Canton’s side including Connor Clifford over Jayden Rivers at 132 pounds, Romanus Pace over James Martin at 160 pounds, Caleb Murcray over Marko Skamperle at 189, and Michael Cogdill over J.C. DeGroat at 215.
The Bears also lost 49-18 to General Brown and 60-12 to Camden. Canton then went on to beat Watertown 42-25 with noticeable wins coming from Caleb Murcray at 189 and Michael Cogdill at 215.
The Bears closed things out with a 39-24 win over Beaver River. Canton moves to 4-2 on the season and have a busy schedule, including a weekend tournament in Indian River.
