Canton 3, Potsdam 0
The Bears started their week strong with a quality win on Monday against the Potsdam Sandstoners. The Bears won three sets to zero behind solid efforts from the whole team.
Canton came out hot and did not stop, winning the first set 25-12 and never looking back. The second set was of no change of speed for the Bears, winning the second set 25-16 and getting the 2-0 advantage on Potsdam.
To cap off the night Canton won the third and final set 25-11 in dominant fashion. The team had a great effort as a whole, especially behind efforts from players like Piper McAllister with four aces and nine points served and Hayle Perrin with three aces and six points served.
Canton 2, OFA 1
The Golden Bears capped off a respectable nine-and-five season as they marched into Ogdensburg and got the win on Thursday night. Canton played a solid game as a whole as they beat Ogdensburg two sets to one.
Canton played a solid game and a good first set as well, defeating the Blue Devils 25-21 in the first set of the game. Ogdensburg shot back in the second set winning 26-24 as it went into extra time. And to cap off the game and their regular season as a whole, the Bears won the third and final set 25-20.
Canton finished their season at a final record of nine and five. They have had some rough weeks this season but they battled setbacks and had a solid and strong finish to their season.
