On Wednesday night in Malone the JV Volleyball team fell short of a win, losing three sets to zero. While missing head coach Rob Brown due to an illness the Bears still powered through and fought the whole game and finished with their heads held high.
Canton came out a little bit slow against a very ready to play Malone team, losing the first set 25-14, and the second set 25-11. Although the Bears struggled throughout the first two sets the started to make some sold adjustments and battled through the third set. Although they ended up losing eventually 25-18 there were some positive takeaways from this game.
“We played solid and worked really hard and although we did not have the outcome we wished for I am proud of how this team battled through the game,” noted sophomore Alexa Romano.
