Canton hosted Massena in their final regular season game on Saturday morning and finished up the season with a 16-1 win over the Red Raiders. Ava Hoy continued her dominance in the circle pitching four innings and striking out ten and only allowing two hits in the game. Eighth grader Tessa Alguire came in for the save at the end of the game pitching one inning, striking out two.
Sophomore, Lucy DeCoteau stroked three hits to lead the Bears. She also drove in three runs in the game. Sydnee Francis, Cate DeCoteau, Ava Hoy, and Courtney Peters also each smacked two hits in the game.
Canton will start the post season on Monday when the host Salmon River in a 5:00pm start time at Ike Noble Field.
