The Canton boys varsity baseball team wrapped up their regular season on Saturday with a convincing win over the visiting OFA Blue Devils by a score of 14 to 4. The Bears now must prepare for their home game this Tuesday, as they face one of the two teams they lost to during the regular season with Gouverneur. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
The Class B play-off schedule is as follows;
Tuesday, May 24th at home: Section X Class B Semi-Finals
#2 Canton vs #3 Gouverneur
#1 Salmon River hosting the winner of the #4 OFA/#5 Potsdam winner from Saturday the 21st
Thursday, May 26th at SLU: Section X Class B Championship
Thursday, June 2nd at SLU: Regional Semi-Finals – Section X Class B Champion hosts the Section VII Class B Champion
Saturday, June 4th at SLU: Region Championship – Winner from June 2nd hosts Section II Class B Champion
Friday and Saturday, June 10th and 11th: NY State Baseball Championship.
Class B Semi-Finals: 2:00 and 5:00 games at Union-Endicott HS
Class B Championship: 10:00am at Binghamton University
