Bears Defeat Huskies

In Canton at Ike Noble Fields on Friday, Canton  13  Franklin Academy  5

The Canton hosted the Franklin Academy Huskies on Friday afternoon at Ike Noble Fields and grinded out a 13-5 victory.  Sophomore, Ava Hoy started in the circle and pitched four innings, striking out 10 batters.  Junior Hadley Alguire came in for a three inning save, striking out 6.

  Offensively the Bears were led by the hot hitting Cate DeCoteau who went 4-4 with a triple and 3 RBI’s.  Hoy also smacked two hits with a triple and 2 RBI’s.  Courtney Peters and Olivia Sero each had RBI doubles.

  Canton will next travel to Gouverneur to face the Wildcats on Tuesday.  Game Time is set for 4:30
