The Canton Bears Varsity Baseball team pulled away from Salmon River, winning 12-5. The Bears kept constant pressure on the Salmon defense, and continued to score up and down the lineup. Lane Rayburn, Daven Lafaver, and Nate Romano continue to be important offensive players for Canton.
David Zuhlsdorf gave up only two earned runs and pitched a solid six innings for the Bears, getting the win after help from Eric Zuhlsdorf closing out the game.
Canton looks to continue their success this Sunday, in the Jim Pinkerton Wooden Bat tournament in Ogdensburg.
