Two Canton swimmers qualified for the NYSPHSAA Swimming State Championships November 19th and 20th in Ithaca, NY.  Two ninth graders, Lexi Stuntz and Skyler Sanderson, will represent Canton Central and Section X at the state meet.  By virtue of their Section X Championship victories, Lexi will swim in two events and Skyler will compete in one.  Lexi will tackle both the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke.  While Skyler will swim the longest event of the day, the 500 Freestyle.  This will be an exciting end to the season as each swimmer is undefeated in their events in Section X, but will face much faster competition at the state level.
