Canton varsity girls played Tuesday evening vs Brushton Moira at home. It was clear right away that the girls would add another win to their unbeaten streak as they quickly won three straight sets 25-2, 25-10 and 25-5.
Outside hitter Katie Bennett added 9 kills, 3 aces and 4 serving points. Hitter Ava Hoy had 4 kills, 7 aces and served up 8 points. Setter Mattigan Porter contributed 14 assists, 1 kill, 1 dig , a few aces and served 5 points.
Opposite hitter Riley Taylor handed out 1 kill, 6 aces, 1 block, an assist, 2 digs and topped the serving points at 14. Middle hitter Julianna Richardson added an impressive 6 kills for the Bears.
The girls are back in action Thursday evening when they head to Ogdensburg for a 6:15 game.
