Last week, Tuesday the Canton XC team had their first and only home meet. There were many Personal Records (PR) set and honorable mentions to start of the season.
For the girl’s team, Grace McDonough (11) came in fourth overall with a 23:18 time! Also, Emily Ames (12) cut a minute off of her 5K time after the Scrimmage in Malone last week running a 30:29.
For the boys team Nick Lyndaker (12) not only got a PR but set a new course PR with a time of 16:35! After his run he said “It was great! The goal was to beat the course record and with the help of my teammate Max Finley (12) bringing me to the half way mark I was able to get it!”
Nice to see everyone improving and working hard so early in the season.
