Thursday night, the Canton Golden Bears played the Potsdam Sandstoners winning 6-1. The second of three contests between the two schools was similar to the first, with the Bears winning comfortably.
Goal scorers included Rhett Palmer, Bradley Frank(2), Peter Coakley, and Drew Blevins(2), who scored in his first career game on his first career shot on an amazing pass from Nick Estabrooks. Frank’s two tallies were also the first two of his varsity career.
Estabrooks(3), Dustin Dodd, Daniel Mahoney, Brandon O’Shea, and Scottie Ahlfeld(2) also had assists in tonight’s game.
Jack Murray, Drew Blevins, Jonney McLear, and Reid Doyle were all new to the Canton Varsity Hockey team and all recorded minutes and played well Thursday night.
