The Canton Golden Bears topped the Potsdam Sandstoners Thursday night in Canton.
The Golden Bears only had two scorers in double figures Thursday night, not due to the reasons one might suspect. Ashton Cloce led the Bears with 13, and Andy Downs added 12. Chris Downs, Sky Kennedy, and Caleb Bentley-Hicks all added eight points. Zach VanBrocklin, and Josh Kennedy dropped four apiece, and Nate Pennyman-Given, Jonah Longshore and Sam Fadden all got a basket to fall.
The team effort propelled Canton to a large halftime lead that Potsdam was unable to rebound. The Golden Bears will play next week in the first round of the NAC playoffs.
