On Tuesday, the varsity XC team went to Potsdam and competed with Gouverneur. Lots of PR’s(personal record) were set for both the boys and girls teams despite the rain.
For the boys sophomore Nick Lyndaker set a course record with an outstanding time of 17:33. Also, the boys welcomed freshman Payen Ashley as he ran his first 5K with an amazing time of 21:33. The girls dominated as senior Arianna Whittaker came in first with a Great time of 20:00.
Varsity Coach Boettecher said that “they did a great job considering the rainy conditions.”
The next meet will be interdivisionals at Malone on Tuesday.
