The Canton Golden Bears Boys JV Soccer team won 4-0 against Brushton-Moira Friday. The Bears dominated most of the game and a lot of people got a chance to play many different positions. Canton’s goal scorers included Bradley Frank, Owen Hall, Tanner Hazelton, and Vincent “Twiggy” Nelson-Fuse.
Jack Kerrigan and Hall both had assists in the game. The Bears mixed up lineup, but it had little effect on their performance and they continued to tear through the defense and created many good scoring opportunities. Christian Simons, Noah Curry, Jacob “Larry” Olmstead and Nate “Romo” Romano all played a nice game for the bears on both ends of the field. The junior Bears pushed their record to 9-3 on the season and will look to continue their winning streak next Wednesday in Carthage. Game time 5:30 under the lights.
