On Tuesday the varsity cross country team took on Malone and Norwood-Norfolk. Though they came in second, all runners did extremely well and many had course PRs (personal records).
Some honorable mentions are freshman Grace Mcdonough with an amazing time of 22:49 as this was here first time running the varsity course. For the boys team, senior Cooper Stuntz came in 6th with a time of 18:51. Also, freshman Chris St. Andrews completed the course for the first time and did it in 20:58.
Coach Boettcher shared at practice the next day that he was impressed and proud of everyone on the team. The next meet for the Bears will be held next Tuesday in Malone at 4 p.m.
