Any Canton athlete wishing to participate in winter sport must complete the registration process prior to Monday, October 14. Any boy or girl in grades 7-12 must register online at the Canton Central Athletic Department Web-page under the “Sports Sign-Ups” tab. The tab is located in the drop-down column on the left hand side of the screen.
Winter sport offerings include basketball, indoor track and field, ice hockey, wrestling, and boys swimming. All athletes must have an up to date physical exam on file with the school nurse prior to beginning practice.
Practices will begin for all varsity and junior varsity teams, as well as, modified wrestling on November 11…times and locations to be announced. All modified practices will are slated to begin one week later on November 18.
Merger athletes wishing to participate on our track, wrestling, boys swim or ice hockey teams must also sign-up via the online registration site. Please follow the “Merger Schools Form” when prompted. Only those individuals from schools with current merger agreements with Canton Central may register, Please check with your school’s athletic director or principal to determine if that agreement exists.
