On Tuesday, September 16th, the Canton varsity cross country team competed in their first regular meet of the season at Potsdam. Unlike in recent years, the meet was held at the Clarkson course instead of at Potsdam high school. Canton raced against Potsdam and Norwood-Norfolk.

Duncan Harper finished in 19:37, taking eighth place. Cedric Harper ran the 5K in 20:06. Finishing the race in 21:08 was Carson White. Elijah Williams ran a 22:46.
