Despite some athletes on the team being unable to run due to injury, the team is continuing to gain members later in the season.

“This was my first meet and I was really nervous when I started, but I came to realize how welcoming and supportive the atmosphere of track and field is,” said new track and field member Jenna Larabee.

The Canton team will continue training to prepare for the peak of the season. The next meet will take place at SLU on Jan. 10.
