On Oct. 8, the Canton modified cross country team successfully competed in a league meet at Potsdam school.
In the boys race, 38 athletes ran. Cedric Harper placed second, running the course in 8:42. Elijah Williams completed the race with a time of 9:55, placing tenth. Callum Parsons ran the race in 10:00, placing 12th. John Tartakoff placed 21st with a time of 10:53. Will Tartakoff placed 27th, running the race in 11:44. Michael Oshier finished 29th with a time of 11:51. Daniel Noble placed 31st with a time of 12:11.
The athletes are looking forward to their next meet in Gouverneur.
