JV Girls 2022 Don Petty Memorial Tournament Champions

In Canton over the holiday break!

Canton hosted the annual Don Petty Christmas Tournament on Thursday and Friday and came away with the 2022 JV Championship trophy by defeating Norwood-Norfolk on Thursday and St. Lawrence Central on Friday afternoon.

 “The girls really came to play the last two games. I loved the energy they brought to the court.  We did a much better job taking care of the basketball and our rebounding was outstanding. I saw a lot of improvement in our young players. They have the potential to be fun to watch the second half of the season.” Said Coach Wentworth.

 The Bears will have a well earned week off from Basketball and then they will host Indian River on January 4th.
