On Friday night in Ogdensburg at the Section Ten championship game, five Golden Bear Seniors were honored for their accomplishments on and off the field.
Brothers Erich and David Zuhldorf were named 1st team All-Northern along with James Bailey who played multiple positions for the Bears throughout the season. James Bailey also received the most valuable defensive player in Section Ten. Throughout the year Bailey recorded 48 total tackles which led the Bears even though he missed 2 games.
The Golden Bears also had four student-athletes of distinction; any Senior who has a 90 or above average. Honoring the Bears with the award were Nick Button, David Zuhlsdorf, James Bailey, and Nick Locy. Nick Locy was also awarded the sportsmanship award for his outstanding attitude and leadership.
