A trio of Canton golfers placed in the top 15 at the Junior PGA Championship Qualifier held at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville on June 29 and 30.
Ryan Jones led the way for the Canton golfers, firing rounds of 79 and 72, good for a tie for fifth at seven over par.
Nathaniel Romano finished alone in ninth place after rounds of 79 and 75 at the qualifier, while Samuel Sieminski carded 76 and 84 for the tournament, placing 15th.
A pair of golfers from Potsdam also competed at Timber Banks. Tyler Berkman finished the tournament tied for seventh place with rounds of 78 and 74, while Christos Theodore tied for 16th after carding rounds of 82 and 79.
