The Canton Golden Bears JV Girls Softball Team is again seeing success on the diamond this season with consistent pitching and depth in the batting order. The Bears have won the last 4 games and recently topped Madrid-Waddington Monday with a 25-7 score. Leading the Bears in the pitching circle was Tessa Alguire with 8 strikeouts and giving up only 1 hit. Offensively the Bears were led by Chloe Baxter going 3 for 4 and Alguire with 2 hits. Both Baxter and Alguire scored 4 runs.
The team will be back in action soon traveling to Massena on Thursday.
