JV Score: Canton 62 SLC 18
The JV Girls Basketball team were on the road again Tuesday night as they traveled to Brasher Falls to square off with St. Lawrence Central. The young Bear Cubs outlasted the Larries 62-18 to continue their winning ways. .
” We have been playing very well the last week. As a team we have been running the floor and passing the ball great. This group of girls has a very unselfish style of play. It doesn’t seem to matter who scores as long as the ball goes in the hoop.” said coach Mike Wentworth
For the second night in a row, every girl on the Canton team scored. Leading the way with 15 points was Olivia White, followed up by Winnie Downs and Jenna Larrabee who both had 8 points. Vivian Coburn netted 7 points, while Sara Aldous and Tessa Alguire each had 6 points.
Canton has two games left on the schedule. They will make the trip to Salmon River on Friday to play against Salmon River.
