The Bears picked up another victory Tuesday, winning three straight sets against Massena with scores of 25-19, 25-9 and 25-19.
The girls won the first set after a slow start, with Massena taking advantage of the Bears uneven playing. The Bears being a stronger team even on a wobbly day though, couldn’t be taken down easily.
Hitter Katie Bennett handed out 12 kills, 9 aces and 2 digs and hitter Ava Hoy posted 8 kills, 6 aces and 1 dig. Setter Mattigan Porter had 19 assists, and also contributed an ace , 3 digs and 6 serving points. Serving points were also added by Hoy with 11 and opposite hitter Riley Taylor had 5. Taylor also posted 2 digs, 2 aces and an assist.

The Bears are on a roll and with so many exceptional players they have their work cut out for them as the season winds down.
They are back home Thursday evening for a match against Gouverneur. Game time is 6:15 pm.
