The Canton varsity volleyball team posted another win Tuesday evening against Salmon River with a three set sweep, posting scores of 25-18, 25-13 and 25-13.
Coming off of the first win in at least twelve years against Massena on Monday, the girls are enjoying their winning streak and come to every game with a reserved but determined confidence in themselves.
Despite a slow start out of the gate Tuesday, they quickly regained their usual momentum and dominated the rest of the evening.
Opposite hitter Riley Taylor served 12 points for the team and also had 3 kills, 1 ace and an assist. Libero Jade Stevenson also served 12 points and delivered an ace.
Outside hitters Ava Hoy and Katie Bennett had 9 and 7 kills respectively.
Setter Mattigan Porter had 1 kill, 4 aces and 14 assists. Middle hitter Julianna Richardson contributed 3 kills.
The Bears are back at home Friday to face Chateaugay at 6:15 pm. The game can be live-streamed here:
