Canton varsity girls volleyball team dominated again Thursday evening against Clifton-Fine. With a 3-0 win, they have now won 5 games.
The Bears amazing teamwork on the court gets stronger every game, making them a tough team to beat.
Many players performed well Thursday. Setter Mattigan Porter helped her team with 10 assists and picked up 8 digs, 2 aces and 1 kill.
Outside Hitter Katie Bennett had 6 kills, 6 aces and served 14 points. Opposite Hitter Riley Taylor served 11 points, 2 aces, 2 digs and an assist.
11 kills by Outside Hitter Ava Hoy and 6 by Middle Hitter Julianna Richardson were also recorded. Libero Jade Stevenson contributed 3 digs, an ace and served up 2 points.
The Bears next game is 6:30 pm Monday at home vs Massena where they hope to continue their winning streak.
