The Bears played solid defense on Friday night not allowing any runs to score. Tessa Alguire had 14 strike outs while Cecily Shipman and Jenna Alguire played strong behind the plate. Salma Moumen made some key defensive plays at third and Marilisa Salvi- Miguel did a great job at first. The combined effort of all of the Bears was able to hold the Raiders scoreless.

The Raiders pitching and defense was strong and the Bears were only able to put one run on the board until the fifth inning when they were able to score four and add three more in the sixth. Alguire reached base every time she was up including two doubles and scored twice. Moumen went 3-4 including a double and two singles, scoring three times. Salvi- Miguel singles and was aggressive on the base paths adding two more runs.
The Bears are now 8-0 and will be traveling to Massena on Tuesday for their next game. The game is scheduled for a 4:30 start.
