Head Coach of the Canton Golden Bears wrestling program Dylan Morrison has continued to follow his passion for wrestling despite the challenges presented by the Covid-19 Pandemic. He has found a new outlet to satisfy his hunger for the sport which he loves by developing Podcast which he has named “MorWrestling” utilizing Anchor. His mission is to provide wrestling related content to Northern New York, The Empire State and beyond. His intentions are to provide insights, interviews and information regarding the high school, collegiate and even inter-national landscape. His weekly sessions will look to feature former New York State successful wrestlers, coaches and enthusiasts. As he stated in his first Podcast, “My goal is to get stories told from a different angle”.
The name of the Podcast is not only a spin on his own name but a promotion of a sport which he loves. For those who live the sport, like he and his family do…. more wrestling is just fine with them! Dylan is the son of former Gouverneur Central School Wrestling Coach Randy Morrison. Randy continues to serve North Country wrestling as the Section X Chairperson, positively representing our athletes at the state level. In only Dylan’s second session he features Canton Central Hall of Fame Member, Section X’s first ever state champion and Ohio State All American, now Sacred Heart University Head Coach John Clark.
