The Canton Golden Bears will be well represented in Section X Championship games as the fall sports season comes to a close. Football, boys and girls soccer, volleyball, swimming and cross country athletes from Canton will all compete for the sectional title over the next week.
The Golden Bears will square off with Watertown for the Section X Class A Championship in football on Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at Watertown High School.
The girls varsity soccer team will take on the Potsdam Sandstoners for sectional glory on Nov. 2 at SUNY Potsdam at 1 p.m.
The boys varsity soccer team will take to the field at SUNY Potsdam after the Class C boys and girls finals and will play at 7 p.m. against OFA for the championship.
The girls varsity swimming team will compete for the Section X Title at SUNY Potsdam on Nov. 3 beginning at 1 p.m.
Varsity volleyball will face Route 11 Rival Potsdam for the Class C Championship on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at SUNY Potsdam.
The Cross Country squad will travel to Gouvnerneur Country Club for a 3:30 p.m. start on Nov. 7 for the Section X Championship.
