On the turf in Ogdensburg on Tuesday night, Canton 2,   OFA 1

On Tuesday night the Canton boys JV Soccer team pushed their record to 11-0 on the season by outlasting the OFA Blue Devils in a Central league match up under the lights in Ogdensburg.

The Bears scored first at the 12:23 mark in the first half when Gavin Schryver connected on a cross from Josh McLear. Canton scored another at 10:03 mark in the second half when Grady Nee and Tomi Husinic assisted Gavin Schryver on his second goal of the night, icing the 2-1 Bears win.

“It is always tough to beat a team three times and OFA battled us in every game to the final horn.  We were seriously tested today and I hope that game makes us better down the stretch”, said Coach Mike Wentworth.

Thursday, Canton will be on the road again when they head down route 11 to face the Potsdam Sandstoners on the turf.     Game time is scheduled for 4:00.
