The Canton Golden Bears Modified soccer team took on their rivals, Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils. The Canton Bears started off the season on a good note by taking the Blue Devils down 4-2.
Goal scorers for Canton were Jonathan McLear with 1 goal, Jude Parker with 1 goal, and Ryan Jones with 2 goals. Coming in clutch was our goalkeeper Jackson Ames with 8 saves.
The Canton Bears next game will be against the Potsdam Sandstoners.
