The Girls Varsity Hockey team lost all three games last week in a big week of games. They played Malone on Jan. 30 and they lost that contest with a final score of 3-1. Malone controlled much of the game and the Bears struggled to settle down and get solid shots on net.
Wednesday night the Bears lost to the Potsdam Sandstoners, the final score of the contest was 4-1 in favor of Potsdam. Canton struggled on both ends of the ice, and the goaltending was solid but unfortunately the onslaught of shots from the Sandstoners was too much for the Bears to overcome.
The final game of the week was a matchup on Friday night against Adirondack United, the Bears unfortunately lost their third and final game of the week. The final score was 7-1 in favor the Adirondack United. Canton had a tough time on the ice on Friday night. And with playoffs coming this is not the week you want to have but the Bears will regroup over the weekend and get after it come playoffs.
