The Bears Girls Varsity Soccer squad won 2-0 in their final home game against Salmon River on Oct. 18. Canton Senior Night took place at the last regular season home game, and they kept the Shamrocks scoreless in an impressive defensive performance. The Bears controlled the game a majority off the time and scored off of a Gabby Taylor penalty kick and a Stella Shipman goal from a Phoebe Jaskowski pass.
The Bears then traveled to Norwood-Norfolk to close out the regular season and did so successfully in a 3-1 victory. After trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Bears dominated the second half of play. They started the second half off with a Stella Shipman goal off of a nice pass from Emily Estabrooks. Then followed that up with another Shipman goal this time coming from Allison Kiah, which proved to be the game winning goal. Estabrooks finished the scoring by finishing a Shipman pass to cap off their impressive regular season.
