In Potsdam on Thursday evening; Canton 8, Potsdam 1
On Thursday the Boys JV Soccer team traveled down route 11 with their 11-0 record to face rival Potsdam Sandstoners.

The Stoners struck first, scoring a goal in the first 30 seconds of the game. With this goal the young Bears trailed in a game for the first time all season. The situation seemed to wake up the Bears. Their determination to strike back lead to eight unanswered goals and a convincing victory with a final score of 8-0. Scoring for the Bears were Lucas Howie(2), Caleb Hartman, Josh McLear, Carter Lesperance, Will Andes and Oz Zuker.

Varsity Coach Matt Caufield coached the team in Coach Wentworth’s absence today, remarked; “The boys played well today. I really like the way they pass the ball and keep the ball on the ground. The Canton Soccer program has a very bright future.”
Canton will have the weekend off and then play the Malone Huskies at home on Tuesday. Game time 4:00.
