Thursday night in Canton’s pool the Bears took on the Malone Huskies. Canton kept the streak alive with a 107-60 win against Malone. Canton has now extended their overall win streak and season total to three wins.
In the meet, Canton jumped out to an early lead and although it may have looked like the Bears were going to run away with it, Massena held their own winning multiple races in a row when taking overall points into consideration. But with a solid effort from the Bears in the 100 Backstroke, Breaststroke and the 400 Freestyle relay the Bears were able to pull away. Canton won first through third in 100 Backstroke and Breaststroke as well as first and second in the 400 Freestyle Relay to seal the victory. Canton has been a Section X powerhouse for years now and it doesn’t look like they are stopping anytime soon.
