The Bears defeated the Devils on Sept. 20 night in the Houli Dome, with the game ending two sets to one, in favor of the Bears. Behind multiple solid efforts from players and the team as a whole they were able to advance to 3-2, just staying about the .500 mark.
The Bears swept the Devils in the first two sets and they just decided to play the last set for fun. The Bears won the first set 25-23 and the second set 25-15 and lost the last set 25-20. Overall the Bears played well and Head Coach Rob Brown was pleased.
“My team played very well against OFA,” Brown said. “We served well and received serve, which helped propel us to another victory.”
This was the Bears’ only game this week and as they took care of business they look forward to next week to keep this momentum rolling.
