The Bears battled in the first half and managed to keep the score within one. Massena scored with a stroke of luck on an unfortunate bounce and went into the second half up 1-0. They played well in the start of the second half and controlled the ball 50/50 but couldn’t capitalize off of multiple chances.
On the other hand, Massena capitalized on every chance they had and scored three unanswered goals to win 4-0.
“We struggled to adjust to the turf,” said Coach Greg Kiah. “We are looking to rebound with a solid performance at home against rival Potsdam.”
